members took a look back at some of the many people the society has booked over the last 40 years.
They heard recordings by organist Roger Fisher, cellist Tim Hugh, the Lindsay Quartet, and The Sirens (Janine Smith, Dawn Foxall and Diana Sharp), remembering also that Janine has appeared for the society as a soloist.
Kidderminster artistes were featured, such as David Morgan, who has not only appeared as accompanist, but also presented an evening of percussion, and tenor Russell Painter. These artistes will return in September. There was Bewdley pianist Sally Bishop, with Anne-Marie Hastings, and an "in-conversation" with vice-president Beryl Chempin introduced Kidderminster pianist Peter Bradley-Fulgoni.
The late Dennis Matthews visited in 1988, and another pianist featured was Sarah-Beth Briggs.
