THOUSANDS of flowers have been planted in 160 hanging baskets across Worcester.
The baskets are dotted around the city and include geraniums, verbena, petunias and fuchsias.
The hanging baskets have been put up on several roads including the High Street, Broad Street, Cathedral Square and Cornmarket, as well as along Worcester’s Riverside.
Councillor Andy Stafford, who chairs the City Council’s Environment Committee said: “This is the second year that we have put out hanging baskets.
"It’s great to see Worcester’s streets awash with colour again – and just in time for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations."
