A restaurant has pledged to give away a free dessert to anyone named Elizabeth this week in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Cote Brasserie will be offering a free tarte royale to anyone who can provide ID to prove that they are named Elizabeth.
A spokesperson from Cote Brasserie said: "To celebrate the Diamond Jubilee weekend, Côte restaurants will be giving away a free Tarte Royale to anyone who shares the same name as HRH the Queen.
"From June 2 - 5, Côte, the UK’s favourite French-inspired restaurant, is calling all people called Elizabeth to head into any one of its 85 restaurants nationwide to treat themselves to a free Tarte Royale.
"The new dessert has been specially created by Côte’s Executive Head Chef, Steve Allen, to celebrate the Jubilee and comes with a show-stopping gold ‘crown’.
"Taking inspiration from the Queen’s favourite flavours and baked in-house, the regal-inspired treat is a deliciously sweet, chocolate and salted caramel tart topped with a fluffy and light meringue crown and finished with decadent gold-leaf filigree.
"Anyone called Elizabeth simply has to present an official form of ID, such as a passport or driving licence, to be served their complimentary tarte royale."
The condition of Elizabeths being able to order one of these free desserts is that it must be ordered with a main course as well.
To claim your free tarte royale, there is a Cote Brasserie on High Street in Worcester's city centre, just off of Cathedral Square.
The other nearby Cote Brasserie branches are at Cirencester and Cheltenham.
On Black Jack Street, Cirencester, there is a Cote Brasserie and Montpellier Terrace in Cheltenham where any local Elizabeth's will be able to pick up their free dessert this week.
Cote Brasserie is a French brasserie chain with restaurants across the UK serving traditional and classic French dishes.
