THE owners of a Worcestershire nursery said they were sad to have to announce it was set to close for good.
Wands Day Nursery in Droitwich will shut having served the community for 13 years.
The nursery has confirmed that issues with staffing have brought about the decision.
A Facebook post from Wands said: "It is with great sadness and disappointment that I must announce the closure of the nursery on Friday 10th June.
"Recruitment of suitable and competent staff has proven to be really difficult over the past 5 months.
"This isn’t a decision that has been taken lightly as we have been at Wands Family Hub for over 13 years."
The post continues: "I would like to thank all of the parents and carers that have been understanding and supportive of our decision.
"It’s been a pleasure working within the community of Westland’s and it’s been very rewarding watching and supporting your children grow and flourish. Thank you for supporting Wands."
The 50-place nursery, on Farmers Way, will close for good on Friday, June 10.
