A MAN from Malvern has admitted stealing cash and assaulting a man in London.
Daniel Whitehead, of Marsden Crescent, Malvern, appeared before magistrates in Westminster where he admitted two charges relating to an incident in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham on April 11 this year.
The charges stated the 32 year-old stole £500 in cash from a man and assaulted him, with both offences happening on the same day.
The theft charge was classed in court documents as "Theft - other - including theft by finding" while the assault by beating charge was included in place of a previous charge of common assault, which was withdrawn in its favour.
With Whitehead having admitted both charges, magistrates adjourned the case until June 6 at Westminster Magistrates Court for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
