A MAN who assaulted one woman and stole jewellery from another in Worcester will be sentenced next month.
Russell Purfield appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on May 7 where he admitted two charges.
These were that the 41 year-old assaulted a woman in Worcester on May 5 this year and also stole jewellery worth £48 from a car belonging to a different woman in the city on the same day.
Purfield, of Bewdley Street, Evesham, admitted the assault charge and indicated a guilty plea to the theft.
He will be sentenced by magistrates in Worcester on June 6 and was granted bail on the condition he remains at his address in Bewdley Street each night.
The case was adjourned so a pre-sentence report could be prepared.
