LONG delays on one of the main roads into Worcester are being blamed on roadworks and a big Worcestershire event.
Delays of up to 20 minutes are hampering journeys into Worcester today (Friday).
Drivers have been left waiting in traffic on the A4440 this morning.
Two-mile queues have built up on the A4440 Temeside Way Westbound from the A38 Bath Road to A449 Malvern Road.
This has also led to traffic on Malvern Road approaching the works.
The delays are being blamed on roadworks in the area as well as traffic heading to the Malvern Spring Show at the Three Counties Showground.
Travel is time around 20 minutes.
First Worcester has said that disruption is expected to the 363 service due to the Malvern Spring Show at the Three Counties Showground.
A tweet from the bus company added: "We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
"Please check the First Bus App for updates and allow additional travel time where possible."
