A POPULAR burger shop in Worcester is going to be featured in a brand new television show. 

Burger Shop Worcester, in Cherry Tree Walk, is going to be competing in BBC Two's brand new TV show called Britain's Top Takeaways on Wednesday (May 11).  

In the eight-part series, Sara Cox has been looking at different takeaway places to see who can be crowned the winner. 

Wednesday's episode will see five independent burger shops across Britain battling it out to see who will be crowned as the best. 

Dorian Kirk and Rupert Davison from the Burger Shop in Cherry Tree Walk, Worcester are competing in BBC Two's new show called Britain's Top Takeaway." 

The two friends studied together at catering college and are now working toward making their burger-related dreams into reality. 

The series is on the lookout for the best takeaway places in England. 

The Burger Shop Worcester said: "WE’RE GOING TO BE ON TV!

The Burger Shop Worcester opened its doors on Thursday, April 13, 2017, and offers diners gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. 

Food lovers often return after eating here once as one reviewer said: "Great service, warm and friendly atmosphere.

"Would recommend and go back again.

"The staff were accommodating and placed sides on a side plate for my daughter.

"Definitely a return visit."

Worcester News asked Burger Shop Worcester for a comment but they declined.
