A COMEDIAN so deadpan he makes Jack Dee look like Ainsley Harriot is coming to Worcester.
The king of one-liners, Gary Delaney, who is also a big fan of puns, is performing as part of the Comedy Zone, returning to the Marr's Bar on Thursday.
Described as "the most underrated comedian in the world" by some, Delaney is a BBC New Comedy Awards Finalist, Daily Telegraph Comedy Award Finalist, and master of the unexpected punchline.
He will be joined by New Zealander Al Pitcher, a comic described as endearing, unpredictable, uplifting and spontaneous. Pitcher offers a blend of observational comedy and improvisation and he is a regular warm-up artist for television shows such as Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
He is a veteran of both Edinburgh and Glastonbury festivals and is currently embarking on his first nationwide tour.
Also performing is Black Country comedienne Susan Murray, while warming the audience up will be resident compere Adam Montgomery.
Tickets, priced £10, are available in advance from Music City and Marr's Bar. Doors open at 8pm.
