A HEARTBROKEN woman has launched a desperate appeal to find a bracelet after it went missing in Worcester.

Rachel Stringer says she is distraught and hasn't been able to sleep after losing the bracelet on Tuesday afternoon (April 26).

The 39-year-old said: "It is not the cost - I have more expensive items but I wouldn't feel the same if I lost them.

"It is the sentimental value. It is a gold, ruby and diamond bracelet, real gold and real diamonds.

"It was given to me by my partner a couple of years ago.

"Ruby is my birthstone, and I was going to give it to my 10-year-old daughter, Jessamy, on her 18th birthday.

"I just want to find it."

The mum-of-three said she realised it was missing after returning to her Warndon home after a trip to a pub with her mum, and to Co-op in Ambleside Drive.

"My mum Margie had mentioned in the Glovers Needle how pretty it looked," Miss Stringer said.

"It is such a unique bracelet - I don't have a picture of it and I've looked online for one that looks the same, but haven't found one.

"I phoned my mum straight away as soon as I got home, she went to the pub but it is not there. It definitely wasn't in the car.

"I'm 100 per cent sure I've lost it outside the pub, or at the Co-op.

Miss Stringer said she wasn't planning to use a metal detector as part of the search, as "you would see it a mile off".

"I've contacted the pub and Co-op to see if their CCTV shows what happened," Miss Stringer said.

"It is a mystery."

How to contact Rachel if missing bracelet is found

Miss Stringer says she had spoken to police to mention it was missing and it was currently not being treated as stolen, just a lost item.

She added anyone who finds it can hand it in to the police or the Co-op, who have her contact details and would then return it to her.
