THIS dramatic photo shows the aftermath of a fire in a Malvern housing estate.
Malvern Fire Station published a photo showing the result of a bin storage fire on the Malvern Vale Estate.
Fire crews arrived to find the building ablaze and crews from both Malvern and Worcester worked to get it under control.
A post from the fire station said: "Last night we were called out to a bin storage fire on Malvern Vale estate.
"As we arrived the building was well alight, but our crew worked hard to knock it back, with assistance from Worcester Fire Station.
"Thankfully nobody was hurt and no fire spread to nearby cars."
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue were called to the scene yesterday evening (Monday 18) after a fire broke out at the Woodward House flats in Hill View Road.
Two crews attended to extinguish the fire, which had broken out inside a bin refuse area attached to the flats.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were first called about the fire at 9.47pm yesterday evening and deployed two crews.
"When we arrived the fire was inside a brick built shed area approximately 4x4 metres in size.
"The fire was extinguished using a single hose reel and both of our crews had left the scene just before midnight."
An ambulance was called for welfare purposes but nobody was reported injured at the scene.
It is not known what caused the fire.
Nearby residents thanked the fire service for their help fighting the blaze, with a couple saying they had been "terrified" to see the flames.
