TRIBUTES have been flooding in for a 26-year-old man who died after boxing at an event at a Worcester nightclub.

Dominic Chapman died after fighting in the Ultra White Collar Boxing event held at Tramps nightclub on Saturday night, (April 9).

Dominic, known to friends and family as 'Domo', collapsed in the ring and later died in hospital.

On Worcester News' Facebook page Dominic's mum Trish Chapman wrote: "This is my son -  I cannot believe or accept that in six minutes his life has ended. He was the most beautiful perfect man. No words."

Her tribute followed a message from Dominic's brother Joseph on his Facebook page which said: "We are utterly broken to have lost Domo.

"He was the kindest, friendliest and most decent human being I knew. He lit up the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have met him.

"Domo has already changed three lives through organ donation, even since leaving us. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

"It was my privilege to be able to call him my little brother and my best mate. Rest easy, lad."

Joseph also shared a picture of him with Dominic, and sister Niamh.

"He was a tremendous young man and we are deeply saddened by his passing. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time."

Tributes were also posted on the paper's Facebook page.

"One thing is absolutely certain the world is a poorer place without him in it. God bless you mate."

Dominic was 'kindest' and 'most outstanding' man

Helen Ward said: " I have no words - he was an outstanding man."

Sally Wild said: "The most kindest person you would ever meet, a man died doing something for a good cause."

Tributes were also left on a Justgiving fundraising page Mr Chapman had shared before the event, which showed he had raised £800 of a £400 target.
