The organisers of a charity boxing night say they are "devastated" after a man died following their event.
Ultra White Collar Boxing also offered condolences to the man's family and friends.
The man died after taking part in a charity boxing event at Tramps nightclub in Worcester on Saturday night (April 9).
Paramedics battled to save the man who was suffering "serious injuries" at the scene and took him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A spokesperson for Ultra White Collar Boxing said: “Everyone at Ultra White Collar Boxing was devastated to hear of the tragic death of this young man.
“Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends at this very sad time. We will, of course, offer them all the support we can.
“With investigations now underway into the cause of his death it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
Cancer Research UK pay tribute
Ultra White Collar Boxing is a corporate sponsor of Cancer Research UK.
Participants in the boxing event were individually raising money for Cancer Research UK.
Simon Ledsham, fundraising director at Cancer Research UK, has offered its deepest condolences to the man's family.
He said: “We send our sincerest condolences to the family of the man who tragically died in hospital after taking part in an Ultra White Collar Boxing event on Saturday where participants fundraised for Cancer Research UK.
"Our thoughts are with the man’s loved ones and friends at this time.”
