A MAN was smacked on the head with a bottle on a train heading to Worcester Foregate Street last night.
British Transport Police were called to deal with passengers on a train journey between Stourbridge Junction and Worcester Foregate Street due to the disturbance.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police confirmed that the man that was hit with the bottle was ok after the attack.
They said: "Officers were called to Kidderminster station last night at 8.42pm following reports of a fight onboard a train.
"A man was struck to the head with a bottle. Thankfully he did not require hospital treatment.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and any witnesses who haven’t already spoken to police can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting ref 626 of 05/04/22."
No arrests were made following the attack but enquiries are still ongoing.
The train had to stop at Kidderminster station, causing delays to the journey.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Railway: "Our 7.57pm service from Birmingham Snow Hill to Worcester Foregate Street last night (Tue 5 Apr) was delayed on arrival at Kidderminster due to passengers causing a disturbance on board.
"British Transport Police were called to assist and the train was able to proceed after a 25-minute delay."
