A MAN has admitted stealing power tools and alcohol to fund his drug addiction.
Lee Shearer of Ploughmans Rise, Droitwich, admitted six counts of theft at Worcester Magistrates Court.
The 30-year-old admitted stealing a Bosch drill worth £59.99 from Homebase on December 9 last year and returning to the same store on Sunday, January 20, to steal two more identical drills valued £119.98.
He also admitted stealing two bottles of Smirnoff vodka worth £28.50 from Morrisons on Saturday, January 26, before returning later the same day and taking two more bottles of the same vodka and two bottles of Martell brandy worth £51.98 on Sunday, January 27, before returning the same day and taking two more bottles of brandy.
Mark Lister, defending, said: "He admitted to stealing alcohol to sell to buy drugs and breaching his bail conditions.
"He has pleaded guilty at the first available opportunity."
Shearer was refused bail and will next appear before magistrates on Monday, February 18.
