COUSINS fought in the street following a row over money.
Nicholas Collins and Nigel Cox were arrested by police following a violent bust-up near the Moatway shops in Malvern.
Both men appeared in Worcester Magistrates Court on Monday, where they each admitted committing a section five public order offence.
Rob Macrory, defending, said Collins was angry because he had seen a crisis note sent to his mother by the Department of Work and Pensions. After seeing the note, Collins believed Cox had taken money from his mother.
Suzanne Llewellyn, prosecuting, told the court that police spotted the fight while out on a routine patrol on October 31.
She said: "Mr Collins appeared to be drunk and was waving his arms around aggressively.
"There was a fight between the men and they were rolling around in the road."
Mark Sheward, defending Cox, said: "Mr Collins was drunk and aggressive towards him. To begin with, Mr Cox took no notice of him and rode away on his bike. Later, instead of walking away, he went across to Mr Collins and there was a physical confrontation between them."
Cox, aged 20, of Elgar Avenue, Malvern, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £40. Collins, aged 22, of Burrows Close, Malvern, was also given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £40.
