A coffee morning is being held at Guildhall later this week to raise money for Ukraine.
The event has been organised by Zoe Coldicott, who has previously helped plan the Victorian Fayre, and more recently signed up to house Ukrainian refugees.
She said: "It makes me so sad to see what is going on.
"Anything we can do to help is so important."
A Worcester City Council spokesperson added: “We are very pleased to be hosting this event at the Guildhall.”
The coffee morning begins at around 9.30am on Friday, March 25, and will involve drinks, cakes and a raffle.
Mrs Coldicott added that money raised will go to the Red Cross.
You can donate to the charity through Newsquest's #ThereWithUkraine appeal.
