SMILES: Paul Martin seemed to enjoy his time at Worcester Magistrates Court despite waiting for hours for his case to be called on.

However, the city dad admits sending, by public communication network, an offensive or indecent or obscene or menacing message to his ex's friend on January 16 this year.

A guilty plea was entered to this on January 18 this year - two days after the offence. Details of the message were not disclosed in open court at this stage.

The case was adjourned to see if Martin needs the assistance of an intermediary and for further case management before it is resolved.

CASE: The case involving Paul Martin could not be resolved at Worcester Magistrates Court on the day he appeared.

Judith Kenney, who represented him at the hearing, applied for an adjournment. Sumreen Afsar, prosecuting, described it as 'another difficult situation' and added: "We may have no choice but to adjourn the matter for that report to be done."
