A SHOT drinking and Domino's pizza-loving great grandmother has celebrated her 102nd birthday.
Lily Bullen celebrated the milestone birthday with visits, gifts and presents from friends and her family including three children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
And her secret to a long, happy life: "live one day at a time because tomorrow is never promised."
The 102-year-old is renowned for enjoying a shot at family parties surrounded by cheering relatives.
Mrs Bullen is also well known for her love of Domino's pizzas, Greggs sausage rolls and cream cakes.
At the age of 99, the adventurous great grandmother even tried ice-skating for the first time at Webb's of Wychbold and loved every minute of it.
Mrs Bullen, who is a resident at Breme House in Bromsgrove, turned 102 on Sunday (March 6).
She was an only child to Lily and Frank Dutton before marrying Geoffrey Bullen and living in Birmingham for many years.
Geoff passed away in 1988, aged 68.
She has three children, Tricia, Dayl and Martyn and five grandchildren, Amanda, Joanne, Adam, Holly and Frank.
Tricia and Martyn moved to Worcester and Mrs Bullen enjoyed visits to the city to see them.
She is also great grandmother to four - Tobey, Mila, Alfie, and Lottie. She adores her great-grandchildren.
Granddaughter Holly West, from Worcester, said: "Her favourite pastime when she can is to watch her great-grandchildren play.
"At the age of 99 the home took Nan ice skating for the first time in her life at Webb’s, she loved it.
"She had a surprise birthday party for her 100th birthday, where she did a tequila shot, she also did a Jägerbomb and tequila shot at our wedding in 2013.
"The world went into lockdown the week after her birthday.
"She’s been reminiscing about the Birmingham bombings with the Russia Ukraine news.
"Her philosophy is to live one day at a time because tomorrow is never promised."
