A CANNABIS farmer with more than 250 plants in a house in a residential street in Worcester has been jailed for 50 weeks.
Tri Van Le was jailed at Worcester Crown Court yestreday for the grow in Arboretum Road, Worcester.
The case had been listed for trial but Van Le of no fixed abode was sentenced when he changed his plea to guilty. Details were relayed to the defendant via a Vietnamese interpreter.
He was found with the plants on September 30 last year.
The forfeiture and destruction of the plants were ordered by the judge. In total 253 plants and associated paraphernalia were found by officers.
