A PENSIONER accused of careless driving could have his licence revoked.
Michael Prescott, of Cherwell Close, Tolladine, Worcester, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court accompanied by two carers.
The 75-year-old is alleged to have committed the offence in December 2006 and is due to stand trial in March.
During the hearing it was decided that medical and psychiatric evidence, making it clear whether Prescott is fit to drive or not, should be sent to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
District Judge Bruce Morgan said: "If his licence is revoked I would hope that the Crown Prosecution Service would appoint a compassionate view and perhaps withdraw the case."
