Police have arrested a drink driver who was almost four times over the limit.
At around 9am this morning (Friday February 25) the Worcestershire Operations Patrol Unit stopped a driver on the M5, just off junction four.
Police breathalysed the female driver and found her to have 135 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath, almost four times the legal limit of 35.
According to West Mercia’s website, drink driving can result in a criminal record, a maximum penalty of six months in prison, an unlimited fine, and an automatic driving ban of at least one year.
