FOLLOWING the River Severn bursting its banks, there are roads closed and a contraflow system in place near Worcester Bridge.
The roads currently closed in Worcester are:
- Grandstand Road
- The Butts
- All Saints Road
- Dolday
- Tybridge Street
- Hylton Road
- Croft Road
- Diglis Bridge
- Castle Street
- Severn Terrace
The contraflow system is now in place on New Road after Worcester Bridge - you can cross Worcester Bridge in both directions and on foot.

Sabrina Bridge for pedestrians is currently closed.

Crowngate Bus Station is open but there have been some disruption to services.
Our 34/35/38 services will also have to turn left out of Crowngate and go via All Saints Rd,Deansway, College St, City Walls Rd, St.Martins Gate, Pheasant St and re join normal service at Lowesmoor Terrace.

Meanwhile in Upton Upon Severn the B4211 Hanley Road and New Street are closed.
And the B4196 between Shrawley and Holt Heath is closed due to flooding at the Lenchford.
