A WOMAN was dramatically rescued from fast flowing water River Severn.
The emergency services were called to near the Boathouse in Grandstand Road, Worcester, at around 5.15pm on Sunday, (December 21) after the woman went into the water.
Boat crews from Worcester and Evesham were sent out and the woman was rescued using a sled boat.

A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "A female casualty was rescued from the water using a sled and handed over to the care of the ambulance service. Police also attended."
Ambulance crews treated the woman at the scene before emergency services left at around 6pm.
