BIGGER isn’t always better in this day and age, but in the business world, it’s usually a good indicator that things are going in the right direction.
And that’s certainly the case for D&J Timber Buildings Ltd, who are about to move into a new larger base barely four years after setting out as a start-up on what they hoped was the road to success.
Set up by mother and son duo Joy and Daniel Cox, the team are incredibly proud of what they have managed to achieve over that space of time.

The business supplies sheds, garden buildings, landscape products, fencing, Durapost and decorative garden products.
Daniel said: “We’re proud of the fact that we’re a Worcester-based firm that’s relocating to a larger premises to expand its products and services to the local customers within Worcestershire.
“Moving to our a new 30,000sq ft site located on the Blackpole East Estate, Blackpole Road, means we can increase manufacturing capabilities and stock a larger range and quantity of products.
“Our excellent staff work hard to deliver a five-star product with a five-star service.”
Quotes from satisfied customers include “Highly recommend D&J – lovely people to deal with”, “they were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and were very good at making me a shed with a log store off the side of it. The two blokes that came to fit it have done a great job too”, and “really professional company, easy to do business with. Really good communication throughout made it a great experience”.
And any business that includes canine companions Milo and Rossi as being in charge of “Puplick relations” in its Meet The team section on its website is clearly in the business of doing business with a smile!
