A 31-year-old woman accused of attacking a police officer will have to wait to learn her fate because she first needs to see footage of the alleged incident.
Laura Jeynes of London Road, Worcester, appeared before city magistrates on Thursday and was advised by her solicitor to wait to see police body worn video footage of the alleged assault before entering any plea.

Jeynes did not enter or indicate a plea to assault by beating of an emergency worker which is alleged to have taken place on January 17 this year.

The assault was said by the prosecution to have been committed against PC Nicholas Garth, 'an emergency worker, namely a police constable, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker'.
Her solicitor, Ryan Hodgins, applied successfully to have the matter adjourned. "I would ask the charge not be put to her" he said.
CASE: No plea was entered to the charge at Worcester Magistrates Court
He explained that he had only just received the body worn footage, which lasted 17 minutes, shortly before he came to court and his client should have the opportunity to view it.
Jeynes was granted unconditional bail to attend a further hearing at Worcester Magistrates Court at 2pm on Tuesday, February 22.
