A ROAD has been closed in Tenbury Wells after a car hit a tractor carrying cattle in a trailer.
The driver of the car has been taken to Hereford County Hospital with injuries and one cow has also been injured.
The A4112 road is currently blocked between Bromyard Road and Oldwood.
Worcestershire Highways has said Oldwood Road, Tenbury is closed due to the crash between a vehicle and livestock.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Around 11am today (Thursday 27 January) officers received a report of a collision between a car and a tractor on Oldwood Road, Tenbury Wells.
"The road was closed while officers attended.
"The driver of the car reported minor injuries and attended Hereford County Hospital.
"The tractor was towing a trailer carrying livestock and one was injured."
