A sweet shop in Worcester is to be closed intermittently for the next few days following a family emergency.
The staff at Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe on High Street took to social media yesterday afternoon to say they would be closed "on and off" for foreseeable future after the death of a family member. Shop co-owners and managers Michelle and Mark Rasdall travelled to Chester through the night after Michelle's mother took ill.
She died on the morning of Wednesday January 26.
The shop's Facebook post added: "I’m sorry if you had a wasted trip today."
