A Droitwich man has been found guilty of a host of offences including assault and sharing private sexual images.
John Loveridge went before Worcester Magistratesf, acing a total of six charges, including assault, harassment and disclosing a private sexual photograph or film.
The charges in full
- On October 16 this year, Loveridge disclosed a private sexual photograph or film, without the consent of his victim, being the relevant individual who appeared in the photograph or film, with the intention of causing that individual distress
- On August 15 in Broadwas, the bench found the 30-year-old had caused criminal damaged to an iPhone 11 to the value of £1000, despite his plea of not-guilty
- Loveridge admitted a charge harassment and imposing fear of violence after sending multiple messages containing threatening and abusive language through several different messaging applications
- On September 29 in Beckford, Loveridge was found guilty of assault by beating, a charge he also pleaded not guilty to
- On August 15 in Broadwas, magistrates also found him guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, again, despite his plea of not guilty
An additional charge relating to the theft of an iPhone 12 by finding was dismissed by the court.
All the charges relate to the same victim.
The case has now been committed for sentencing at Worcester Crown Court on February 28.
Loveridge is to remain in custody until the sentencing on the grounds he's likely to reoffend or interfere with witnesses.
The bench also cited the seriousness of the offences and the likely penalty as a reason for not granting bail, adding that Loveridge has a record of offending for similar matters.
Loveridge, of Vashon Drive, Copcut, Droitwich was found guilty of five offences at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 24.
