AFTER all the indulgences of Christmas and January traditionally being the month when well-intentioned diets start, it might seem an odd to feature a baker as our Trader of the Week – but what about everyone who have good reason to celebrate in January?
Birthdays, anniversaries, Christenings, the list goes on – which is where Daniela Klyszczova comes in.
She launched her Pershore-based business CookingBaking in spring last year, and after a hectic Christmas period, is back baking mouthwatering treats.

She makes bespoke birthday cakes (and Christmas ones, obviously), brownies, cupcakes, cookies and more. Danny also prepares other seasonal offerings such as Halloween treat boxes.
“I think the most memorable and proudest moments are when my customers come back to me with a positive feedback and recommend my little business to their friends and family.
“My business isn’t making gluten, dairy or vegan treats at the moment as I am researching new recipes and options to satisfy everyone’s food intolerances, allergies and preferences.
“I am also planning on making low sugar cakes so people with diabetes could treat themselves too.”
