A SUSPECTED drink driver failed to provide a specimen of breath - and now he's banned from driving.
Jack Williams was stopped in Malvern but ultimately failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when asked by police.
The 27-year-old of Oatleys Road, Ledbury appeared before Worcester Magistrates on Thursday following the offence on December 9 last year.
Magistrates imposed a community order to include an electronically monitored curfew at his home address between 4pm and 4am seven days per week for eight weeks.
The curfew was extended so it covers the garden, allowing him to go outside.
The bench disqualified him from driving for 17 months. However, they did offer him the drink driver's rehabilitation course which, if completed successfully and at his own expense, will reduce that ban by 17 weeks.
Costs of £135 were imposed. He must also pay a surcharge of £95. Williams was given 28 days to pay.
