STAFF at a Malvern post office are outraged a festive post box topper has been stolen.
The topper belonged to Barnards Green Post Office, which has made a plea on Facebook for the stolen property to be returned.
Jenny Cain of Barnards Green Post Office said: “What kind of person does that?
“I would never dream of taking something like that.
“I’m fuming about it.
“It says a lot about the society that we live in that you can’t put something nice like that on top of a post box without someone vandalising it.”
The post on the post office’s Facebook page says: “To the horrible person who has destroyed my post box topper last night, please do the decent thing and return the mice, sleigh and snowmen to the post office.
“It is not yours to take.
“It is theft!
“I have CCTV on the front of my post office so please don’t make me use it!”
The post box topper was a festive scene of crocheted animals and Christmas trees and was loved by the Malvern community, she added.
