A MINOR injuries unit in Evesham has been forced to close for the New Year Bank Holiday weekend due to pressures as Covid cases rise across the country.
Although no official cause was given for the pressures which sparked the closure, cases of the Omicron variant are known to be increasing nationwide.
Due to current pressures we have taken the decision to temporarily close Evesham Minor Injury Unit over the bank holiday weekend. We will continually review the position over the weekend.

ONS data show 1 in 25 people in England had COVID last week with even higher rates in some areas. The wave is still rising and hospital admissions are going up. Please protect yourself and those around you. Get boosted, use face masks indoors, maximise ventilation, wash hands. https://t.co/7w4gBHWxdo
