POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a house in Worcester was burgled twice in just 10 days.
The incidents at a house on Selbourne Road West, Barbourne, took place between 8pm and 11.30 on Monday, January 7 and 8.15am and 7.20pm on Thursday, January 17.
A medium-sized brown leather handbag and another cloth bag were taken during the first incident. The bag contained a bank card, £10 and a driving licence. An umbrella, some clothes and some CD cases were in the cloth bag.
A Nintendo Wii worth £179, an extra controller worth £20, four Nintendo games worth a total of £100 and a Fuji 5 megapixel camera worth £140 were taken during the second incident.
A police spokeswoman said: "The owners of this property have been the victims of burglary twice in a very short time and are understandably very upset.
"We would urge witnesses to anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the times given, anyone who has information on the incidents, or anyone who is offered any of the items mentioned for sale under suspicious circumstances, to contact police."
Information can be given by calling 08457 444 888, and quoting 81/S/080108 for the first incident and 527/S/170108 for the second. It can also be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
