A MAN who admitted drink driving has been disqualified for 12 months and fined £400.
Kevin Browning, 43, admitted being over the limit while driving in Fernhill Heath, near Worcester, but said he was ashamed of his actions.
Worcester Magistrates Court heard how police officers stopped Browning in Dilmore Avenue, Fernhill Heath, on Thursday, November 29 when they suspected he was speeding.
He was later found to have 96mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, the legal limit is 80.
Representing himself, Browning of Tapenhall Road, Fernhill Heath said he had had two drinks over a long period of time but had not had anything to eat.
He said: "I do assure you it will never happen again."
Magistrates also ordered him to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
