Worcester Woods Country Park
Here you’ll find plenty to do since the Country Park has “two nature reserves” and an “open field” according to Tripadvisor.
Both adults and children can visit since there’s “two adventure play parks” and trails to follow, perfect for a Boxing Day walk.
Dogs are allowed to join in the fun too, making it a great place for families to enjoy.

Gheluvelt Park
Worcester is also home to Gheluvelt Park where you’ll be able to walk around or even take a seat and soak up the view.
One reviewer wrote: “I was in my way to Worcester races, but was a little bit early, so I popped along to Gheluvelt Park for a while.
Lovely just to sit and watch the world go by, it’s such a clean and tidy park, with so much colour.
Worth a visit.”
If you choose to drive, you can park your car for free “by the Waterworks Road entrance,” according to Tripadvisor.

Diglis Waterside
If a canal walk sounds more like your thing this Boxing Day, look no further.
Why not walk along the canal and take in the fresh air and views? You can also walk along the River Severn which runs through Worcester.
