A FURTHER update has been issued on a school's suspected Omicron case.
And Worcestershire County Council has also provided the latest on potential Omicron cases in schools across the county.
The authority has previously said there are Covid cases at Redhill School, but they had not have been confirmed as the variant causing concern.
Suspected cases have a genetic marker that looks like Omicron but potentially may not be Omicron, and tests were being done to establish if it is the variant that has been causing concern.
In a new update a council spokesman said: "We have liaised with the Local Outbreak Response Team and there is no update on the Redhill result.
"This can take some time to be sequenced."

"The potential cases and close contacts have all been quickly identified and are following public health guidance."
Parents and carers of children in class 3 at Redhill CE Primary School were sent a letter earlier this week advising their child may have been in contact with an Omicron case.

"The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has advised it is important for anyone who might have been exposed to this variant to complete daily testing.
"If the LFD test result is positive, please keep your child at home and access a PCR test as soon as possible.
