Christmas is a little over a week away now and with it comes lots of food, wrapping paper and drinks bottles that you’ll need to dispose of.
Before you let the rubbish pile up along with all your general household waste, it might be a good idea to know exactly when you can expect your bins to be emptied.
An overflowing bin just isn’t fun so we’ve listed your local bin collections in Worcester during the Christmas and New Year period.
Bin collection days in Worcester over Christmas
This year, bin collections are due to take place on the usual collection day during the Christmas and New Year period.
While there isn’t a change there, it’s important to note that Worcester City Council asks that you put your bins out by 7am.

Although there aren’t any changes to domestic bin collections, the City Council’s commercial waste service will see some changes.
Trade waste that would usually be collected on Monday December 27, will now be collected on Tuesday December 28.
Trade recycling that would usually be collected on Monday December 27, will now be collected on Wednesday December 29.
