A MAN who stole an £11,500 sewage pump from Droitwich will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court.
Trevor Green appeared at the city's magistrates court having previously admitting stealing the pump on Saturday, October 13 last year.
The 36-year-old, of Worcester Road, Kidderminster, had disputed the value of the pump, which is used by water companies, saying he sold it on for £98.
However, at the court hearing the retail manager of ITT Flygt (CORR), to whom the item belonged, said the pump was worth £11,500.
The case was sent to the crown court for sentence because of the value of the item.
Green will appear there on Friday, February 15 and was released on conditional bail until that time.
