A PUB landlord is due to appear in court to face charges under the new smoke-free legislation.
Tony Blows, landlord of the Dog Inn, in Ewyas Harold, near Hereford, will appear at Hereford Magistrates Court on Monday (21st).
He denies two charges of failing to make people stop smoking in the pub, and one of smoking in the premises.
Since a smoking ban was introduced in England on Sunday, July 1, 2007 it is an offence to smoke in virtually all enclosed' or substantially enclosed' public places and work places, including pubs.
