A SUPERMARKET convenience store and coffee shop chain may be coming to a new business park in Worcestershire.
Plans for Copcut Business Park include a mixture of retail and commercial properties including a new Sainsbury’s Local store and Costa Coffee Drive Thru.
Around 175 full time jobs will be created in a wide range of retail and commercial roles at the business park.
The proposals have been put forward by Hinton Group for a modern business park to be built on land between Roman Way and Copcut Boulevard.
It is part of the Copcut Rise residential development site which includes allocations for retail space and employment uses.
There will be 53,000 sqft of commercial space and eight ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging spaces.
The Costa Coffee Drive-Thru will also have cafe seating and there will be 58 parking spaces for both the coffee shop and Sainsbury’s Local including eight ultra-rapid charging spaces.
A mid-range commercial unit of 18,000 sqft and a second commercial unit of 41,000 sqft will also be available on the business park.
Cars will enter the business park from Copcut Boulevard using an existing junction and there will be new pedestrian and cycle access from the Copcut Rise development.
Residents are being asked to make comments to Hinton ahead of the planning application being submitted to Wychavon District Council before the end of the year.
