The new Greggs bakery has opened in Worcester High Street and is already proving a big hit with city shoppers with queues out the door this lunchtime.
The popular bakery has opened in what used to be Pret a Manger on the corner of the High Street and St Swithin's Street in the city centre.
People could be seen queuing out the door to buy pastries, pasties sausage rolls and cookies in a shop with a much floor plan than the one customers are used to as well as more outdoor seating.
The building had been gutted to make way for the new bakery and there is outdoor seating with space for seven tables and 24 chairs for customers.
The smaller Greggs shop two doors down on the High Street will close its doors to make way for the bigger bakery.
There is another Greggs in The Shambles as well as another new bakery being built at Blackpole Retail Park too.
