FLOOD barriers are going up in Bewdley this morning.
The Environment Agency are erecting the flood defences in the town today and have said they are keeping the ones in Worcester and Upton-upon-Severn in place.
A spokesman said: "At present the river levels are remaining the same however we are keeping in close touch with the Met Office. Heavy rain is forecast for later today, tomorrow and Saturday."
Flood warnings were still in place along the River Severn and the spokesman urged people to be vigilant and keep a look out at their website or ring their floodline for regular updates.
