A TOP television comedian dropped into a city centre pub for a quick pint before his show last night (Wednesday).
Comedian Ed Byrne enjoyed a beer at TripelB Belgian Beer Cafe in Copenhagen Street.
He was in the city ahead of his gig at Huntingdon Hall and told Twitter followers he was enjoying a preshow pint at the pub.

Mock the Week star Byrne is touring the UK with If I'm Honest which brought him to Huntingdon Hall in Worcester.
People responded to his Tweet telling the television comedian he had made a good choice to enjoy a tipple.
"Great choice!" one fan said while another replied "One of our favourite bars in Worcester..hope you enjoyed it!!"
TripelB shared the picture adding the caption on their Twitter account captioning the post "Look who popped in for a pint last night".
Byrne has appeared on a number of top television shows including Top Gear, The Graham Norton Show and Have I Got News For You.
The observational comic finally continues his nationwide, biggest tour to date as he gets back on the road this Autumn.

In the show, Byrne takes a long hard look at himself and tries to decide if he has any traits that are worth passing on to his children.
