POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a report of a rape in city centre toilets.
Officers say the incident happened in the men's toilets in the Crowngate Bus Station at around 4.15pm on Monday, November 8.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation.
West Mercia Police wants to hear from anyone who used the male toilets between 4pm and 4.30pm and may have seen an altercation or anything unusual.
Detective inspector Ed Slough said: "We understand that incidents of this nature cause concern in the local community and would like to reassure people that they are extremely rare.
"Our local policing teams are conducting additional reassurance patrols in the area whilst investigations continue."
