WORCESTER would change hands and become a Labour gain, according to a latest poll of voters.
An Ipsos Mori poll has nationally put the Conservatives on 35 per cent, down four points on September, Labour unchanged on 36 per cent, the Greens up a five points to 11 per cent, and Liberal Democrats unchanged on nine per cent.
A breakdown of the poll, when people were asked their voting intention between Oct 29 and November 4, shows that regionally one of the Labour gains would be the Worcester seat currently held by Conservative Robin Walker.
Political analysts say Conservatives losing their lead in the polls is due to the Owen Paterson lobbying row of recent days.
