THE first names set to perform at next year's Mello Festival have been announced and include a chart-topping star.
Soulful pop singer Rag n Bone Man will be coming to next year's Mello set to take place at Severn End Country Estate in Hanley Castle.
He is one of several big names set to perform for festival-goers which organisers promise will have a line up that is "stronger and stronger" after covid forced a two-year postponement.
Rag n Bone Man, aka Rory Graham, has had hits with Human, Giant, Grace, and Anywhere Away From Here featuring P!nk.
The popular festival will return in 2022 from June 2 to June 5 after the festival was postponed in 2020 and 2021 because of the covid pandemic.
Earlier this year, organisers said this year's event would "be replaced with a ‘Mega Mello’ running for 4 days over the newly created June bank holiday in 2022.
Already announced to be joining Rag n Bone Man on the bill is pop star and X Factor contestant Ella Henderson.
Ella has taken the charts by storm with songs including the recent hit Let's Go Home Together with Tom Grennan.
She has also had hits with This Is Real with Jax Jones, Ghost and Glow.
Hip Hop legend Grandmaster Flash and pop band The Feeling are also on the Mello 2022 line-up.
