A woman has died after being struck by a car in the city centre.
Officers received reports of a black Vauxhall Astra colliding with a pedestrian on The Tything near the junction with Castle Street at around 10.15pm on Saturday, October 30.
Both police and ambulance crews attended the scene, and a 51-year-old woman from Worcester was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, but sadly, subsequently died.
Floral tributes have been laid for the woman outside Black Pear Lettings.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information and wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured it on dash cam.
Anyone with any information is asked to visit https://www.westmercia.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/ quoting incident 748 of October 30.
*This story originally listed the woman's age as 31-years-old. However, West Mercia Police has since confirmed there was a mistake on the appeal and this has therefore been corrected.
