The owner of a popular Worcester café has been charged with assault.
43-year-old Rebaz Tahir, who owns Black & White coffee shop on The Foregate, is set to appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on December 12.
It's claimed a pensioner and a woman were left injured following an alleged attack in their own flower shop.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, October 2, took place at a Hopmarket Flowers on Foregate Street in the city centre.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police, said: "A man has been charged after an incident in Worcester.
"Rebaz Tahir, 43, of Helford Close, Worcester was charged with assault.
"He was bailed to attend Worcester Magistrates’ Court on December 12.
"The charge relates to an incident on The Foregate on 2 October."
