A 41-year-old man on a mobility scooter has denied racially aggravated harassment, including an allegation that he spat at a motorist and used racist language.
Richard Hill, who gave a care of address of St Paul's Hostel in Tallow Hill, Worcester, denied racially aggravated intentional harassment when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Thursday.
The alleged offence is said to have taken place on July 20 this year against Zachary Thomas. The defendant accepts he was present but denies the incident took place.
A two hour trial is to take place on January 14 next year at the Worcester court.
